Checklist to Buy An Equipment :
* Check the Quality of the Machine.
* Never buy very Old Model because that will become obsolete in a year's time and its specification and attachments may not be very outperforming to cover better results and new indications.
* Go for the model which may be atleast one year Tried and Tested.
* Ask the Performance of the machine from its existing Users.
* Check out Company's Technical Strengths and Capabilities. In case of any problem in Microprocessor board / Power Supply - Can they repair the same board at component level or without replacing with new board even after the expiry of the warranty period.
* In case of any long breakdown of machine - Can they provide a standy unit for the time being.
* What is the normal breakdown time of visit.
* Demand for the Spares Pricelist in Foreign currency while placing the order.
* Check the Foreign Principal's Credentials and Performance Report from the Market.Also check the distributor agreement between the local vendor and foreign principal.
* Check in the equipment whether it is free from future mantainence & consumable usage or not. As some companies put a master code in the machine and the machine stops after using some time / shots so that they may shell out more money from you. Take this in writing.
* In case of Lasers and IPL - Must see that you can change the flashlamp in the handpeice and you should not buy another new handpeice when the shots are completed because that is expensive in any case.
* Never buy any equipment which may use more consumables or if you still want to buy then make sure that you may get frequent supply of consumables.
* Last but not the least, Price - The Pricing should be worth of the quality, results of the machine and performance report.
